Hello,
Visted the exhibition at around 3.15pm and was delighted to see everything that was on show was very pertinent to the people of Lower Broughton, Adelphi, etc! Had a chat with Lawrence----nice chap. Also, had a few conversations with other attendee's, which stirred the old memory into remembering things that had either become hazy/forgotten.
Billiant experience, and cannot wait until the ehibition finds a permanent home. Plenty of wonderful photographs and maps denoting Salford of the 50's/60's.
I thought it was a great experience, and well done to Lawrence for his diligence and hard work in presenting it all. I sincerley hope that it will go from strength to strength.
